Lava composition

Mafic- Relatively low in silica high in nickle, iron, and magnesium. Low Viscosity means flows comes from deep in the matle

Felsic- high in silica aluminum, oxygen high viscosity high in mantle.

Mt. Bananas

There was a Volcano named Mt.Bananas that was very small and they called it the Shield Volcano. it was the best volcano and people loved it because it was not like any other volcano. It shot out banana slices and little ice cream scoops . But one day there came another volcano and it was the biggest of all of the others.

People didn't like it because it had many pieces of papers and pens on it and its name was Mt. Work. Mt. Work got so jealous of Mt. Bananas it chose to step on him and it deform him and blew lava on him and people wondered where Mt. Bananas was, and Mt.Bananas said “I am Mt. Bananas” and they didn’t believe him so they renamed him Mt. Melter.

Mt. Bananas moved to the amazons and tried to reform and he did but he was stuck to the mud and he needed help. A herd of monkeys and tigers came together to help Mt.Bananas and they got shovels and cut him out. Mt.Bananas returned and people didn’t recognize him because he was gone so long. So Mt. Work formed into Mt. Flower he was so perfect people wouldn’t recognize Mt.Bananas.
Then Mt.Bananas thought of pouring erazer all over Mt. Fower that revealed Mt. Work’s identity and he was no sad for not being the best of all. He just wanted to be like Mt. Bananas be the best. Mt. Bananas chose to help and said to go to hawaii and change into lava volcano and people will be fascinated by his explosions.
He said yes but he wanted to be a lighting volcano and Mt.Bananas said “ok” Mt. Work changed his name to Mt. Bolt and he was fine with the name. So Mt. Bolt now lives in Hawaii and people are fascinated when he erupts and it doesn’t affect people that much. Until they suffocate and die from bad air quality.
